anthropology

Anthropology is the study of humanity across time and space. This course introduces students to the four fields of anthropology: Linguistic, Biological/Physical, Cultural, and Archaeology—known as “tones,” “bones,” “thrones,” and “stones.” Through each of these lenses, students will explore human societies, cultures, languages, evolution, and material remains to develop a broader worldview of humanity from the past to the present.

The Khan Academy Big History Project's Unit 6, "Early Humans," is an excellent resource for our Anthropology course, and we will be using some of the information here as well!

This National Geographic website gives a great overview of Anthropology and will give you an idea of the topics we will cover in class.
