I am Mrs. Martin, aka The Eclectic Historian™

I am a high school history teacher. I currently teach AP World History, Anthropology, AP Human Geography, and World History. I am the creator and coordinator of the Bear Essentials new teacher mentorship program and the Academic Team Coach.

I reside in "Bear Country" and have lived here for 6 years. I live here with my family and FOUR cats! (I know, maybe too many cats)

I enjoy writing historical fiction and retelling history from the perspective of what could have been, as well as giving the nobodies of history a voice. Additionally, I create AP World History curriculum planners and content for teachers as well as lessons for AP World History, AP Human Geography, World History, and Anthropology.

I am a big Stranger Things fan! Mary Stuart Queen of Scots and Teddy Roosevelt are two of my favorite historical figures. Genghis Khan is a close third!
