ap human geography

In our AP Human Geography class, we will be investigating population trends, exploring diverse cultural landscapes, and identifying spatial patterns across various scales. From bustling cities to rural areas, you’ll embark on a journey of discovery as you examine the diverse interactions that people have with the environment. We will learn about different types of maps and what they tell you, causes and effects of migration, population and immigration policies and their effects. We will dive into the historical forces, such as colonialism and trade, that affect cultural patterns and modern forces, such as globalization. We will investigate why different religions spread in different ways, factors that lead to states breaking apart, how farming practices affect the environment and society, factors that drive the growth of cities and suburbs, the Industrial Revolution(s), and trade and the world economy!

This is a website with pdf copies of each chapter within the AMSCO Human Geography textbook we use in our class.
